Kurt Farquhar

Chicago native, Kurt Farquhar, is a Los Angeles based composer known for shows such as King of Queens, Girlfriends, Black Lightning, The Neighborhood, Proud Family: Louder & Prouder, Abraham Lincoln, Not Easily Broken, and The Perfect Match.  In 2022 Kurt was presented with the Hollywood Music in Media Career Achievement Award. In 2026, he was nominated for a NAACP Image award for Outstanding Soundtrack for The Proud Family: Louder & Prouder. Kurt is an eleven-time BMI award winner, four for his work on The King of Queens, two for Being Mary Jane, four for The Neighborhood, and one for The Game. He is also a Los Angeles Confidential Impact Award Winner.
